PT BUMI Etam Chemical (BEC) was established in 2023, part of PT Bumi Resources (BUMI) group, the largest coal mining group producers in Indonesia from its subsidiaries PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and PT Arutmin Indonesia (AI).

BEC is coal downstream project implementer of BUMI group under KPC and AI that will focus on the establishment of Coal to Chemical Project in Indonesia as mandated by The Government of Indonesia.

PT Batuta Kimia Perdana (BKP) established in 2013 with the strategic intention of embarking on a significant investment venture – the construction of an ammonium nitrate manufacturing plant. This ambitious project is slated to be situated on a vast 10-hectare parcel of land, and the company has set forth plans to achieve a substantial total production capacity of 180,000 tons per year.

Dire Terminal Indonesia (DTI) is a well experienced port operator company especially in the East Kalimantan area to own and operate the port area of BCIP as Badan Usaha Pelabuhan (BUP). In the first phase DTI plan to build a coal jetty facility and cargo jetty. Ultimately, the port will complete with liquid jetty to support all tenants in BCIP.

Prodigy Energy Resources is a company that focus on developing the downstream of methanol. In the first phase BKG plan to build a 300.000 TPY capacity of Dimethyl Eter (DME) that will inline with the national direction on energy transition from LPG to DME
